Supported by the Adeje Department of Culture, the show is based on a reinterpretation of some of the most iconic soprano arias in the operatic repertoire. It creates a unique dialogue between voice and guitar, replacing the traditional orchestra, in a concert-style stage setting.This vibrant and original performance seeks to reconnect contemporary audiences with the essence and emotion of opera through a fresh, intimate and accessible lens. The concert features the acclaimed soprano Carmen Acosta, accompanied by the four virtuoso musicians of the Canary Guitar Quartet.Far from the grandeur of traditional stage productions, Bel Canto offers a musical experience in concert format, where some of the most celebrated arias by composers such as Donizetti, Bellini, Mozart, Rossini, Bizet and Puccini are brought to life through the distinctive interplay between classical guitar and lyrical voice. The performance lasts approximately 65 minutes.With original arrangements by composer Fran Yanes, the repertoire takes the audience on an emotional journey through the golden moments of bel canto, offering a new perspective on famous works such as Casta Diva, O mio babbino caro, Una voce poco fa and Sempre libera.
