A Different Morning Coffee
Today’s Morning Walk took us into the historic heart of Adeje, where we stopped at La Placita, a friendly café sitting directly opposite Adeje Town Hall.
It’s one of those places that’s easy to drive past but well worth stopping for if you’re looking for a relaxed breakfast away from the busy coastal resorts.
Breakfast Time
After looking through the menu and prices, breakfast arrived along with a very welcome coffee.
The food was fresh, well presented and excellent value, making it easy to understand why locals and visitors alike enjoy coming here.
Exploring Adeje
Once breakfast was finished we wandered around the town centre, taking in Santa Úrsula Church, the Town Hall and several of the quieter streets that give Adeje its traditional Canarian character.
Along the way there were plenty of chats with viewers, discussions about Tenerife life and the usual Morning Walk community atmosphere.
Worth a Visit?
If you’re exploring Adeje or heading into the mountains, La Placita is certainly worth considering for breakfast or coffee.
Sometimes the smaller local cafés become the ones you remember most.
